About

We are trying to develop an embodied embedded framework to account for the cognitive processes involved in translators' and interpreters' (uh, oral translators) tasks,  which we have unimaginatively dubbed "cognitive translatology". In order to do so, we are continuously learning in areas such as vigilance, multitasking, mental workload, internalization and expertise. The bilingual mental lexicon, naturalistic decision-making under uncertainty, fuzzy problem solving, self-regulation, implicit beliefs and HCI are other research areas we usually dive in.
